Privacy Policy

Your calm is personal, and so is your data. This policy explains what we at Trendico LLC collect when you use the Mirabae Food Noise Coach and the Mirabae websites, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be readable, not to hide behind legal language.

What we collect
- Account data. When you create an account we store your email address and, if you provide it, your first name. Sign-in works through a secure email link, we never see or store a password.
- Ritual and check-in data. Your daily signals (for example food noise level, cravings, mood, sleep, optional weight and journal notes), quiz answers, lesson progress, and plans. This is self-reported wellness data. It is sensitive to you, and we treat it that way: it is stored in your private account space and is never sold, shared for advertising, or used for anything except showing you your own progress.
- Coaching applications. If you apply for private coaching, we store the answers you submit (including your goals, challenges, and contact details) so we can review your application and reply to you.
- Waitlist and email signup. Your email address, used only to contact you about Mirabae.
- Local data on your device. The app stores your progress in your browser (localStorage) so it works without an account. This data stays on your device until you clear it or sign in, at which point it syncs to your account.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share your check-in or health-related data with advertisers.
- We do not use your journal content for marketing.
Where your data lives
Account and app data are stored with Supabase on servers located in the United States (US East). Payments are processed by Whop; we never see or store your card details. Our websites are hosted on cloud infrastructure in the United States. If you use Mirabae from Switzerland, the EU, or the UK, your data is transferred to the United States and protected by contractual safeguards with our providers.
Why we process your data
- To provide the app and sync your progress across devices (performance of our contract with you).
- To review coaching applications you choose to send us (your consent).
- To send you the emails you asked for, such as sign-in links or waitlist updates (your consent, withdraw anytime).
- To keep the service secure and improve it (our legitimate interest, using aggregated, non-identifying insights).
How long we keep it
Your account data stays as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, or ask us to, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep records longer (for example invoicing). Coaching applications are deleted no later than 12 months after a decision.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the Swiss revDSG and the EU GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and the right to object to processing. Write to contact@mirabae.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
A note on wellbeing
Mirabae is wellness education, not medical care. If you are living with or recovering from an eating disorder, please work with a qualified professional. Our coaching application includes care questions for exactly this reason, and we may gently decline when coaching is not the right level of support.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will note the new date at the top and, for significant changes, inform you by email or inside the app.
